Y.A. King is an American Hip Hop artist representing the three parts of Hampton Roads, Virginia in Surry County, Smithfield, and Newport news.

Y.A. King stands for Yahweh Art. Yahweh means God in Hebrew, and Art is to create. The words combined mean I am God’s creation.

He has a versatile sound, unique voice, and style and can tackle any genre. The music that he creates speaks of his experiences from the struggle to the streets.

He began his musical journey as an outlet to share his emotions, experiences, and tribulations without judgments based on his past mistakes.

He is influenced musically by his family, and his industry favorite is Jay-Z. Furthermore, Lil Wayne, Burga, and YG Teck inspired him. He plans to give back with knowledge and wisdom to help others have an easier journey.

Y.A. King’s mission is to create a legacy for his family and peers with music as the source. Y.A. King has three projects, All Work No Play Vol.1, In My Lane, and “Redpanda.
