INTRODUCTION

Jasmine JLT Holland, known professionally as Jaszi, is an American singer and songwriter. She was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. She realized that music has been her healing place since age 3. Brandy, Monica, TLC, Tamar Braxton, Whitney Houston, Jhene Aiko, SZA, H.E.R., Queen Naija, and Summer Walker inspired her.

EARLY LIFE

Her parents had set up a music room in their home, where she grew to understand how music worked by observing the instruments. She began using her voice along with each melody.

PROJECTS

She is known for her single Turn it Down, she released and charted on Apple Music Global Top 200 for New Releases: R&B in 2020. During her high school years, she partook in a theatre program.

MUSIC CAREER

She was a member of the music group M.T.M (More Than Music), which consisted of four MC’s and two singers (including herself). LIFE

She returned to the music scene with her first solo debut single, Turn it Down. She has released singles such as Serve, Swerve (2021), and Help Me (2022). Jaszi, was nominated for Best Female Artist of the Year for the 716 Music Awards.
