Isis Crespo: I am an Afro-Latina, Neo Soul, R&B, Jazz, Hip Hop Fusion singer and songwriter who is a Newark, NJ native. As a child, I was introduced to music by learning to play instruments such as the flute. Music became how I expressed my emotions after my mother’s unexpected passing due to systematic racism, it enabled me to have a creative outlet and turn my pain into purpose.

My major musical influences include greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Chaka Khan, Sade, Anita Baker, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and The Rat Pack. My first major release is a single titled “What Are We Gonna Do” featuring Mack Chillz, which was released as an independent artist and was inspired by my mother.

This single has hit the FM radio first debuted by DJ Cosmic Kev in Philadelphia. The latest single that’s been released is a sultry song titled “I Want You To”. I’m known as a modern-day naturalista, a Momager, SAG-Aftra Member, Model, Content Creator, foodie, nature lover, an advocate, and a multi-faceted creative.

I’ve juggled multiple industries throughout my musical journey, I’ve been featured on the big screen internationally as a cast member/VJ of sorts for several MTV shows, and have been in major motion pictures, and TV shows alongside some of the greats. In addition, I’ve modeled for Old Navy campaigns, highlighted in an international magazine, and have worked with multiple award-winning producers and songwriters.

My music is Therapeutic for me, I call it TheraMusic its music that is like therapy  and hope it can help others through the soothing sounds of bright Neo-Soul and R&B Fusion of sound with conscious messages. Although I’ve accomplished great things, being a mother is my greatest accomplishment.
