Andrea Beaumont

Where are you from? Can you tell us about your latest project? I am from Atlantic City, NJ. I am currently working on my modeling portfolio. I have some photoshoots in the works so I’ll be focused on my showcasing my style.

How did you get into acting? I got into acting via costume design in high school. I originally wanted to make that my area of focus until I read Antigone and Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare. Those made me take theater acting seriously. When it came to film, hands down have to say watching Keira Knightly in Domino. Her performance gave me the confidence to go to college for film.

Who has been your biggest inspiration in the industry? I have several! Marilyn Monroe, Pam Grier, Aaliyah, Tera Patrick, Candace Von & Nyomi Banxxx. I mentioned this wide range of women because they are proper pop culture stars on both sides of the entertainment fence. If I can be a fraction of what they are combined, I’ve done my job & made them proud.

How do you prepare for a role? I start with the clothes and backstory if necessary. Knowing who this person is in the “before” stage helps me get in the zone to know how to perform the part.

Can you share a memorable moment from a film set? The first time I was on a professional film set was when I was with a client. The whole production team was more than just nice to me. As a professional companion by day, it was a good experience to be around people who were curious about me and had genuine excitement about what I can bring to the industry as an actress. Seeing people respect me, give advice, and not be judgmental was comforting. People are more than ok with sex workers than most want to admit.

What challenges have you faced as an actress? Biggest challenge has been having the time and enough money to work on what I need to work on. Las Vegas is truly a different beast compared to Paris (where I lived for many years), London, and even New York City. The consistent-inconsistency makes you more crafty, but at the same time more drained.

How do you handle negative reviews or criticism? Always consider the source and their Twitter/X feed of “opinions”. That’s the best way I have handled any negativity. On the other side of that, for the legitimate criticisms, I see them for what they are: constructive notes on where to build myself up more or tone down to not pressure myself.

Whats your dream role In Porn? Being cast as Tommy Gunn’s love interest in an old school style feature-length erotica.

Mainstream? Maggie the Cat in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Cleopatra, and an original Blaxploitation character. I am more than ok being Benedict Cumberbatch’s go-to love interest. He’s super hot and talented.

How do you balance your personal life with your acting career? I balance it out by being a professional companion. Unlike escorting, which has become super fake and fully of clownery, being available to spend time with men of my choosing out the gate who would rather be patrons, while mixing in some romantic gestures, helps me have peace of mind to practice so I can be the best. Clients who are consistently coming to Las Vegas to see me, spend time with me, and believe in me, really make the best fans.

What do you think makes a great actress? What makes a great actress is mystery. One of the main takeaways I have from porn, and sex work in general, is how to be comfortable being a visible yet still invisible enough type of star. There’s a way to exist in this age of social media without giving so much away to demonstrate that you can be used to make a cheaper buck than yesteryear. Also working on being your creation is more rewarding than being a copy of a figment of a man’s imagination.

Who are your favorite actor/actress you want to work with? So many people on both sides of the fence, that it’s hard to pick just one. I want to work with, both as a co-star and hopefully intimacy coordinator: Benedict Cumberbatch, Gerard Butler, Anne Hathaway, Emma D’arcy, Janet McTeer, Keri Russell, Demi Moore, Dev Patel, Joel Edgerton, and Emma Stone.

Whats the most difficult scene youve ever had to film? My first porno with my now ex-husband. He was 11 inches of a nothingburger. What that experience taught me was to be more mindful of both branding and what I want to give to my fans. They deserve better than a crap performance and captain obvious fake orgasm. Mainstream or porn—I have to be authentic and like who I’m working with. I am not for the weak, professionally or personally. I go deeper emotionally with everything I do because the internet and DVDs are forever. I want to look back on everything, big or small, and be proud of my work. So I hope who I work with next measures up.

How do you approach learning lines? I start by reading the whole thing front to back, then highlight my part and focus on how to deliver based on the tone of the previous character. I’m currently reading To The Actor: On the Technique of Acting by Michael Chekhov just to get a different perspective. No script is too silly or “above” me. If I have to go the visual-listener route, I like to rewatch my favorite movies to observe the better way of doing it for the type of genre I’m working on.

Do you prefer working in film, television, or theater? Why? I prefer theater to keep the lines fresh in my head and focus on HOW to say it to the audience. The real time vibes and feedback keep me on my toes and makes it enjoyable. Film & television give me time to focus on the right “when” and “why” of a scene. It’s just as important to know when to start adding more passion to the scene and why one has to make the other character feel that level of ecstasy at that moment.

How do you handle the emotional demands of intense roles? I look at emotionally intense scenes like boxing matches. There’s choreography to them that you have to balance with the right tone and body language. If the emotions remind of a time I’ve dealt with someone similar in real life, I summon what I should have said or reacted with and let the emotion pass so I’m not repossessed by it.

Whats the most rewarding part of being an actress? The most rewarding part has to be the time this lifestyle affords me. I can take time to create what movies, tv shows and plays I want to do. I can have time to do feature dancing at strip clubs of my choice or make fans, directors, and prospective co-stars come to me in Vegas by doing a one woman show. Always looking at the history of magicians and using those stage techniques in an erotic, mesmerizing way helps me be the entertainer I want to be. I don’t feel limited in ways I have been in other jobs.

How do you choose the roles you want to play? I choose the roles I play based on emotional intensity, levels of nudity, the quality of writing, and how method I can get into each part. I choose things that will make me give 110%. I always want to see how I can top myself. I want to get into a habit of coming on to projects that film either in late winter/early spring or in the fall. I like to leave room to take vacations and fill up my social calendar.

How do you stay grounded in the often chaotic entertainment industry? Masturbating and smoking weed regularly. Lol. On a serious note: I don’t let anything get to my head. Being raised in the Muslim faith, I already had wealth in my life and know what it truly means. I live in Las Vegas not be rich, but to be wealthy. I had great material resources growing up, so, as an adult, I definitely don’t allow greed to control me. Greed takes people to the edge paying the price tags of things they cannot or should not be able to afford. My family made their money years ago during and after World War II, so I was able to be the type of descendant enjoying her generational wealth as my family intended.

What advice would you give to aspiring actresses? Focus on and study public relations. Look to the past to give people the future they want to see when it comes to sticking to what sells. If an actor/actress did things in a way pre-social media that you like, the strategies that helped create them still hold up and you can use today’s tech to streamline it, do it. Build relationships from the outside in by looking at the business side so you know how you can let executives and investors know how you can make money. It makes negotiating much easier because you care about speaking to the objective more than the artistry.

In porn especially, find a way to own as much of your work as possible before a studio does. Having the copyright and means to earn royalties will help you in the long run.

How has your acting style evolved over the years? It’s still a work in progress in terms of it being truly my own. Right now I can say that my style is a blend of Chloe Sevigny, Jessica Lange, and Kathleen Turner with Pam Grier as the base to help radiate sex appeal.

Whats the best piece of advice youve ever received? Focus on a manager, not an agent. A manager will care about your whole production and wants to help you stay financially sound when going into doing business with certain studios/executives.

Whats the hardest part about being an actress? The hardest part is trying to date. I need a partner to understand that I’m coming from a background that has sex work in the mix. A real man has to understand that I’m a sexual being exploring the different ways I am going to be a great entertainer. I am always working on an “act” or practicing lines, but I am never acting with anyone I truly want to be with. I feel like the only people that understand this are other actors. They’re more mature communicators because they study different ways of saying something constantly. I appreciate that so, so much.

How do you deal with the pressure of being in the public eye? I just remember that social media is not a real place. Fans offline tend to be more literate and respectful of boundaries so I like being around them in real life. They make it tolerable for those times I just have to go “viral”.

Can you tell us about a role that challenged you the most? My real life self is the most challenging. In reality, people really don’t like “princesses” in the non-materialistic context. If your personality is genuinely regal, incomparable, and you’re intelligent enough to know the difference between being “nice” and “kind”, based on the things money cannot buy, you tend to piss off a lot of people. It’s hard to be that in a environment that reigns supreme with fake people.

What are your projects that youre excited about? I am excited about continuing to write 12 Tales of the Zodiac Sex Club, building my glamour modeling portfolio and small roles in erotica and mainstream films to build my acting resume. I can’t wait to show people my versatility.

Any closing words? Being a new breed of Las Vegas Showgirl has been a dream that’s taken a long time to start coming to fruition. I cannot thank the acquaintances and friends I’ve made along the way who believe in me and see my worth in this industry. The best is truly yet to come.
